December 2, 2014—Despite several staff members being out with the flu over the last few days of the event, TouchPoint Press’s first annual Spirit of Thankfulness A-Book-A-Day giveaway was a success.

The reason for the giveaway was simple: to focus on paying it forward and remember the commonly overlooked Thanksgiving holiday.

Publisher Sheri Williams had no trouble citing a few things TouchPoint is thankful for. “At TouchPoint, we are thankful for our authors who have become part of our family and make our jobs interesting and fill our lives with excitement. We are thankful for our vendors who have placed their faith in us and make our titles available to their readers. We are thankful for our readers for without you the efforts we put forth each day would be worthless.”

TouchPoint ran its Spirit of Thankfulness giveaway from November 17 through November 27, 2014 (Thanksgiving Day) on Facebook. Winners were selected at random using the online selection tool at http://www.classtools.net/random-name-picker/ where they were then directed to TouchPoint’s online bookstore to pick their choice of any ebook in stock.
