Getting to know novelist Sarah King

Hello!  My name is Sarah King and I am an author with TouchPoint’s Romance division.  I currently live in Annapolis, MD with my husband, Robert, and our two adorable minions (aka our children).  Writing came naturally to me early, starting at eight years old.  My first stories were based on a parrot detective solving crimes. (LOL)  I made my switch to romance after reading and falling in love with the genre.  There are so many talented authors in this field and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.  The first book I wrote, Blue Twilight, literally came to me in a dream.  It woke me up in the middle of the night and I had to get up and start writing.  That still happens now, but I’ve grown smarter and now keep my phone handy for any late night ideas.

Besides writing, I enjoy coloring (those adult coloring books are addictive!) and adding to my extensive music collection. Music is a huge inspiration to me while writing and most of my books have “theme songs” or their own playlists!  And now onto my books!

My first book was Blue Twilight and it is a sweet, standalone romance with a country music theme.

Every song has a story behind it . . .

Lisa is looking forward to a fresh start when she moves to Tennessee. She is focused on her dreams of becoming a song writer and won’t allow anything to distract her. Then she meets Jake and her world is turned upside down. He could wind up being the one to make all her dreams come true or will he shatter them instead?

Jake wasn’t prepared for Lisa to storm into his life. But now that he’s got her, he’ll do anything to keep her–including lie to her. When the past resurfaces, what lengths will he go to convince Lisa that some dreams are worth fighting for?

Meant To Be Mine is a stand-alone, contemporary romance with a friends to lovers theme.

After her relationship of three years comes to an abrupt halt, Callie swears she’s done with men. They’ve all let her down…except for Ben. He’s always been there for her. But when she starts to feel something more, is she willing to take a chance?

With their relationship on the line, can these friends overcome the challenges to find what they deserve . . . what’s been in front of them all along?

Waking up in Vegas Sarah King

Waking Up in Vegas is another contemporary romance with an enemies to lovers theme.

When what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay there…

It was supposed to be a wild weekend spent celebrating her best friend. But Kiera didn’t count on running into him. He was an annoying blast from her past, hell bent on pushing all of her buttons. But when sparks begin to fly, she starts to question everything she thought she knew about this man and herself.

Business. It was always about business. When Andrew travels to Las Vegas for a meeting, he never counted on her. Some things never changed and it seemed like Kiera was still stuck in the past. But as things heat up, he starts finding ways to mix business with pleasure. And after an amazing weekend, he needs to find a way to convince the feisty red head that not everything needs to stay in Vegas.

Can Kiera and Andrew overcome the ghosts from their past in order to find a future together or will they bet on love and lose everything?
