Aly is an award-winning screenwriter, playwright and author of chick lit, women’s fiction
and sci-fi. Her short film “Aeris”, available on Amazon, was an Official Selection of The
Santa Barbara International Film Festival and winner of Best Narrative Short at The
Garden State Film Festival and the Canada International Film Festival. She produced
the narrative documentary “Madonna and the Breakfast Club ” with Lotus Entertainment
and The Orchard, which sold to Hulu. Her single-camera-comedy pilot “Next Big Thing ”
was an Official Selection at Catalyst Story Institute and was acquired by Matador
Content. Her screenplay “Divine Blood ” was a semifinalist in the Blue Cat Screenplay
Competition and chosen for the Stowe Story Lab. Other screenplays of hers were in
Austin Film Festival, Vail, Cannes Screenplay, Atlanta, Hollyshorts and many more. She
is a graduate from Monmouth University and received conservatory training at the
Maggie Flanigan Studio. When she isn’t writing, she’s studying Astrology and taking
care of her four crazy cats… or maybe it’s the other way around.
