Carol Beecher grew up on a small farm in Pennsylvania, attended a one-room school with eight grades, graduated with a BA from Penn State and an MS from Chapman College, vaccinated women in against Smallpox as a Peace Corp Volunteer, had a career in Civil Service Stateside and overseas in Korea, traveled widely, and retired to begin writing fantasy.
