Dan’s rom-com novel, “Madcap Serenade,” will be published by TouchPoint Press in late 2022.

Dan Kopcow’s sci-fi noir novel, Prior Futures, published by Black Rose Writing on December 16, 2021, is a finalist in the 2021 Best Thriller Book Awards and also won the 2022 Independent Press Award for Science Fiction Distinguished Favorite. His fiction short story collection, “Worst. Date. Ever.,” was published by Regal House Publishing in March 2020 and was named one of 2020’s top 100 novels by the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP).  The anthology, “Thank You, Death Robot,” which included his short story, “The Cobbler Cherry,” won an Independent Publishing Award for best science-fiction and fantasy and was voted a Chicago Tribune Top Ten Fiction book.  

Dan sang in a professional boys choir and participated in their Italian singing tour which included a gig at the Vatican and singing for the Pope.  This fact remains completely coincidental with the plot of “Madcap Serenade.”
