Fayla Ott

Fayla Lindsey Ott resides in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. She has been married to her real-life hero for seventeen years, and together they have two handsome boys. She also has two grown stepsons, a daughter-in-law, and one adorable granddaughter. She graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland, and with a master’s degree in English from National University in 2013. She also holds a first degree black belt in a Korean martial art called Tang Soo Do, and when she can, she helps her husband with his martial arts school. Fayla has taught English college courses as an adjunct instructor, but just started writing full time while her children are at school. When she is not writing, Fayla enjoys learning guitar and spending time outdoors, and with her family, enjoying all of the beauty and activities of her community. Fayla also enjoys being involved in her local church by singing in the choir, and teaching children’s choir and Sunday school. Fayla’s favorite Christian author is Francine Rivers who has influenced her own mission for writing.  Her prayer is that readers will discover the same hope she has in Jesus Christ through her fictional stories and characters. She is thankful God gave her a passion that she can use for His glory. If you’d like to contact Fayla, you can write to her at: faylaott@gmail.com. She loves to hear from her readers.
