Having enlisted in the United States Navy directly out of high school, Mr. Jones was
a Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Hospital Corpsman. During his nearly 7 years of service, John experienced combat when he deployed to Somalia in 1994-1995 before being medically discharged. Jones has been actively employed in contract security work with the United States Air Force and private entities, as a Corrections Officer, Deputy Sheriff, and most recently as a Senior Federal Law Enforcement Officer conducting Anti-Terrorism and Civil Aviation Protection. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration, and a Master of Science degree in Security Management from Bellevue University (Nebraska).

Jones is a certified Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Nebraska as well as a credentialed Federal Law Enforcement Officer, where he has obtained several federal instructor certifications including Firearms, Medical, Defensive-Measures, and Tactics,
amongst others. John is the co-author of the undergraduate textbook entitled: The fundamentals of Security Management: A Common Sense Approach; utilized by Bellevue University from 2006-2010. As you can see, Mr. Jones is intimately familiar with the topics discussed in this book, having earned this familiarity over 30 years of experience.

Still, John considers his greatest accomplishment convincing Emily to marry him. The two currently reside in Coastal Mississippi where their six (yes SIX) children and ever-growing number of grandchildren come to visit.
