Julane Fisher moved around growing up but calls Georgia home. A graduate of Auburn University, she taught middle school special education before earning her master’s degree in counseling from Georgia State University. Julane blogs at 2Wrds, a weekly blog that offers readers stories of encouragement and inspiration.
Julane began writing shortly after the birth of her twins but found little time to finish a manuscript. A friend who shared what it was like to grow up with an identical twin sister, in a family with four sets of twins, inspired Julane to write a novel that highlights traditional family values in a humorous and positive light.
Julane’s favorite food is homemade chocolate chip cookies! She also credits her love for coffee to the completion of her novels. When she is not writing, blogging, or reading, she taxis her twin boys to and from lacrosse games and tournaments, as well as fishing and hunting outings. Her favorite vacation spot is a white sandy beach! Julane resides in North Atlanta with her husband, twin boys, and their mischievous black Labrador Retriever. This is Julane’s first novel.
