Kim Hamilton grew up in the suburbs of D.C. After receiving a degree in English Literature from Roanoke College, she went on to attend law school simply because she was enamored with the cast of LA Law. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore, and moved to Baltimore permanently when she married. An unusual set of circumstances thrust her into the personal injury business. She spent ten inglorious years chasing ambulances—an experience from which she has almost fully recovered, and which served as inspiration for her first novel Accidental Lawyer. A proud mother of two daughters, she now resides in the suburbs of Baltimore.
