Sharon Rene is a legal assistant who loves cats, writing and exercise classes. She lives in Memphis, Tennessee where she has taught Sunday school in the children’s and youth departments for over fifteen years. She’s written many published flash fiction stories and non-fiction pieces for Chicken Soup for the Soul and Life Changing Miracles. Her flash fiction collection, entitled A Flash of Romance, is available on Kindle/Amazon.  Currently she’s working on a speculative young adult series.

When she’s not writing, Sharon Rene enjoys spending time with family and friends or exercising at the gym. Church has always been an important part of her life and she’s participated in mission trips to Argentina, Venezuela and Nicaragua.

Sharon was born in Mississippi but has lived in Texas, Louisiana, Florida and currently resides in Memphis Tennessee.  She spent her youth in Louisiana and graduated cum laude from Southeastern Louisiana University.

As an only child, Sharon has always been very close to her parents. She spent a lot of time reading and developed a huge imagination which she now channels into writing. Although she didn’t have siblings she was very close to her younger cousins who constantly followed her around and turned to her for advice.

Sharon is grateful that God has given her the opportunity to reach children with her words and hopes her writings will help children grow closer to God while stirring their imaginations. She’s honored that God is allowing her to write for His children. The most precious audience.
