Stephanie Hartung is an attorney with more than a decade of experience handling some truly fascinating cases.  The majority of her career has been spent in the courtroom advocating for those who find themselves in some pretty desperate and oftentimes unintended situations, not unlike the unfortunate yet sympathetic lead character of her debut novel, Offensive Charge, a poignant story that originated as a dream and haunted her until it was reduced to writing.

Outside the courtroom, the small-town farmer’s daughter relishes her role as a wife, to Design Engineer and football-loving husband Luke, and mother to three young and familiarly strong-willed daughters.  When she’s not working as a deputy prosecuting attorney or chasing one of her littles, she enjoys being consumed by a good mystery, preferably in the bathtub with a glass of red wine or champagne.
